I was always a fan of the heroic masculine figures of the 1980s and 90s. Larger than life characters such as Conan the Barbarian, He-man and Tarzan of the Apes. They went forth with a can-do and will-do attitude, massive strength, gigantic melancholies, and more than their fair share of try/fail cycles. Just like Bond, Bourne and Hunt, they inspired me as a child, a teen, and yes, they inspire me on even through my adulthood. What’s the draw? Let’s find out. Come hither and PAINT IT WITH ME!
